Program Overview

About this program

The Doctor of Ministry in biblical theology is for experienced ministers teaching the canon's unity to a congregation. Biblical theology is the attempt to say how sixty-six books make one story without flattening any of them. This ICAS-accredited Kingdom of Life University pathway covers covenant and canon, promise and fulfilment, the major Old and New Testament approaches with their respective blind spots, controls on typology, and teaching the storyline to a congregation week after week.

Competency-Based Ministry Assessment

Recognition of demonstrated learning in theology and ministry

Experienced ministry practitioners demonstrate competencies developed through years of service, theological study, and continuing learning. The assessment connects that learning with the published outcomes of the Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Theology through biblical understanding, theological reflection, research, and ministry judgment.
