A quiet place to pray

A seminary that asks people to study Scripture should also give them somewhere to pray. The Prayer Chapel is open to anyone, whether or not they are a student, and there is nothing to buy on it.

A visitor chooses what is on their heart from twenty-two named burdens, grouped as the heart and spirit, this week, the people I love, and the church and the world. Each one brings its own passage of Scripture and a prayer written to be prayed aloud.

Nothing is submitted, stored, or emailed. A seminary collecting a person’s grief in a form field would be gathering data rather than praying.
